Can you build custom furniture to an exact size, like a 4-metre table?
Yes — every piece starts from your dimensions, not a size chart. Send us the length, width, and where it’s going, and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Can I pick the exact wood and finish?
Yes, always. We’ll recommend a finish based on the piece and how it’ll be used, but the choice is yours: natural oil, wax, polyurethane, or a stained color over any of those finishes. (Stain sets the color — it isn’t a finish on its own, so we’ll always pair it with oil, wax, or polyurethane for protection.)
How do I get a price?
Send a photo or description with dimensions, material, and location by WhatsApp, Line, or email. Most initial estimates come back within a few hours to a day; larger or more complex projects can take up to 2–3 business days.
Can you build custom items beyond standard furniture, like a fitted panel?
Yes, if it involves wood or custom fabrication — send photos of the space and we’ll confirm.
Can you come measure our space, or do we send you the measurements?
It depends on the project. For built-in work, we’ll generally recommend our team measure on-site, since accuracy directly affects fit — a site-visit fee applies, though it’s often built into the quotation rather than charged separately. For freestanding pieces, you’re welcome to send your own measurements. In either case, we ask that clients be genuinely committed to proceeding before a site visit is scheduled, ideally supported by a deposit; this is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Do you sell ready-made pieces, or is everything custom-made to order?
Most of our work is custom, built to your dimensions. We do have a small number of finished pieces available — ask us what’s currently in stock.
Do you deliver and install outside Bangkok, or outside Thailand?
We deliver and install nationwide. Within Bangkok, installation is included in every quotation. Outside Bangkok, cost depends on distance, scope, and complexity of the project. We’ve also completed installations abroad — tell us your location and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
Where does your wood and other materials come from?
Our timber comes from the US (East Coast) and Europe (Germany). It’s naturally air-dried outdoors for one to two years, then kiln-dried before shipping, with the environmental and sustainable-sourcing certifications standard in Europe.
Does Hulta Design use European joinery or construction techniques?
Yes. Our cutting and joinery run through German-engineered CNC machinery, holding tolerances that hand-cutting alone can’t consistently match — every panel and joint is cut to the same specification, piece after piece. We select materials, fittings, and construction systems to the same European quality standards, which is what lets us pair precision with production that stays affordable at the quality level we deliver. We pair all of this with European timber — including European oak and ash — alongside carefully selected local hardwoods, and joinery methods built for long-term structural stability rather than speed.
